Criterion Equipment Recognised with Two International TCM Forklift Awards

Criterion Equipment’s commitment to growing the TCM forklift brand and supporting customers throughout Southern Africa has been recognised with two prestigious awards presented at a recent international dealer conference in Shanghai, China.

As the sole distributor of TCM forklift trucks in Southern Africa, Criterion Equipment received the Top Parts Sales 2024/2025 Award and the Top Market Share Incremental Growth – Internal Combustion Trucks (F22/23 and F24/25) Award.

TCM Forklift Awards Recognise Growth and Customer Support

The two international TCM forklift awards recognise different but closely related aspects of Criterion Equipment’s performance in the regional materials handling market.

Growth in market share reflects the company’s success in developing the installed base of TCM internal combustion forklift trucks across Southern Africa.

The Top Parts Sales award highlights another important aspect of Criterion Equipment’s offering – the aftermarket support required to keep customers’ equipment operating reliably and productively throughout its working life.

A Team Achievement for Criterion Equipment

Criterion Equipment Managing Director, Brenton Kemp, accepted the awards on behalf of the company at the international dealer conference, which was hosted by Logisnext Asia Pacific (LNAP).

“While I had the privilege of accepting these prestigious awards, the recognition is shared across Criterion Equipment. These awards demonstrate what can be achieved when everyone works towards a common goal and purpose, with our customers at the centre of everything we do,” says Kemp.

“We have established a strong foundation in our region and our focus is to continue building on it, strengthening our support of the market and delivering the levels of service our customers expect.”

Kemp says the awards reflect the hard work, dedication, tenacity and perseverance of the entire Criterion Equipment team, as well as the contribution made throughout the business to supporting customers and developing the TCM brand in Southern Africa.

Strengthening the TCM Forklift Brand in Southern Africa

A strong relationship between the manufacturer and distributor remains central to Criterion Equipment’s ability to provide effective support to the Southern African market.

“We believe the relationship between manufacturer and distributor is central to delivering effective support in a regional market. LNAP provides the product and manufacturer resources behind the TCM range, while Criterion Equipment brings local market knowledge, sales capability, parts availability and aftermarket support to our customers,” explains Kemp.

This close manufacturer-dealer relationship enables Criterion Equipment to combine internationally developed materials handling equipment with the local infrastructure and expertise required to support TCM machines throughout their operational life.
